Dali Trail – November 2011- Horseback Riding Spain
The perfect riding holiday! I feel compelled to tell every horse rider everywhere about this fantastic holiday! At the end of 6 days in the saddle I just wanted to do it all again. It's rare to find something which can't be improved upon but Rudi lives and breathes trail riding and his warmth and laid-back sense of fun make for the perfect holiday antidote - it's really only later on that it dawns on you, the sheer dedication which goes into producing this level of perfection. The Dali Trail they have created makes for varied riding (pine forest, beach, grass plateau, olive grove, tracks between fields, steep stony hills into a National Park, across stone bridges, through rivers and into pretty villages) the lovely horses are well trained and fit (lots of long trots, canters and gallops), the food is freshly prepared and delicious and, with 3 meals a day and plenty of local red wine or cava, there is very little need for spending money, the accommodation is all of a good standard, picturesque local guest houses or hotels (luggage efficiently transported to the next stop each day) and care is taken to ensure that everyone has a wonderful time.

Best riding holiday ever outside UK! I have had five riding holidays at Panorama Trails. The horses are great, the people are good and caring and the accommodation on the trails I have always found to be very comfortable and welcoming. I am planning to go again!

I got so many fantastic impressions that it's really difficult to say what I liked most. I enjoyed the landscape, the pretty villages, the food and meeting new peoples from different countries. What I really miss is my faithful partner "Zeus" who was carrying me safely during the Herdsmen Trail. Please say hello to him. Hope to see you in spring again!

We really really had a great time at the Herdsmen trail at the beginning of September. Rudy you were fantastic in so many ways, we loved our horses and the beautifull Mountains. Also the sleeping places, the lunches from Buffalo, the weather… we had a great time! Thank you for everything!!! Maybe we come back next year for the Bandit Trail or the coast trail (we also like going fast J).
I have a question to you Rudy, you made beautifull pictures in the Mountains! We want to make a photobook so we can't wait to receive them. I know you're busy but is it possible to sent the pictures to us?! You can use my mailadres!

Path of Herdsmen Trail – August 2011- Horseback Riding Spain
Of Rudi's varied trails, this must be the trail for amazing panoramas which got more stunning each day. Mufassa scrambled up the rocky mountainsides with much greater enthusiasm than I scrambled down on my own 2 feet. Fully functional ankles, knees, and hips are an asset as are non-slip boots.
There were good opportunities for canters the first day, we all enjoyed lovely refreshing swims in mountain pools the 2nd &3rd day. as we climbed higher into the Pyrenees, we looked over ridge after ridge of mountains, green meadows, carpeted with wild flowers and herds of wild horses with their foals. A stallion came to check us out, which Mufassa eye-balled, but luckily Rudi has no mares-- only the 2 legged kind! There were also hundreds of cows with bells ringing around their necks, that for sure ''The hills were alive with The Sound of Music'' in this film like setting.
Muscle man Nachos kept us safe, helped by a great bunch of fellow riders, including 3 nurses, a horse vet and a Padre---in case things got desperate----no Caroline, we did not need your services this year! My 5th trail with Panorama-trails, an unforgettable week, my thanks to all and fellow riders.

Mediterranean Trail - May 2011
Greetings from Canada! My friend and I had the time of our lives when we went on the Mediterranean Trail in early May of this year. I had the perfect horse (I'm sure she would argue and say hers was the best), and our personalities matched very well. On the way back to the airport, we were trying to calculate the cost of purchasing our mounts and having them shipped back to Canada (haha). It was my first experience riding in another country, and I can say that I will never travel without a horse again! The views were astounding and I still look at pictures and videos from the trip with a fond nostalgia. During the final breakfast, every person on the ride agreed with enthusiasm that they would love to have another week with your fabulous horses. I would like to thank you for your excellent staff and ride guides, who are nothing but the best, and I hope this isn't the last time we meet.

Hi Rudi, many thanks for a wonderful week's riding on the Gourmet Trail. This was my first trail with you and I'm definitely hooked! I'll be back next year, fingers crossed! Please make sure you thank David for his amazing cooking and great sense of humour, and Daniel for his patience helping us out. And let's not forget my new facebook friend Paola!! A great drinking buddy and really great helper.

Mediterranean Trail - March 2011
I recently had the pleasure to ride on the Mediterranean Trail Ride and I can easily say that it was one of the greatest experiences of my life -- I loved the whole thing. The horses were incredible and Rudi did an amazing job of matching horses and riders. The trails and landscapes were stunning and the organization of the whole 6 days was nothing short of fabulous. I want to put out a very special "Thanks" to a very special person -- Jordi -- who was the trail leader and he was not only a fearless and completely capable leader, he was a total delight to spend the week with and never tired of all of our endless questions and chit-chat. He was a very good sport! Thank you all so very much and I look forward to my return,

Well you promised me a wonderful time and I certainly had one with you and the great bunch of girls on your fabulous Bandit 's trail.
Of the 35+ trails that I have made on horse-back, this trail is tops for the breath-taking scenery. Riders will surely leave behind the stresses and strains of their everyday lives and become at one with nature as they ride through this truly stunning area, absorbing the sights and sounds around them.
The horses are easy to handle and so sure footed, on the often demanding terrain, that I felt safer on Tronco's back than my own 2 feet.
The endurance-type saddles are really comfortable for both horse and rider, so, as long as riders sit correctly, they should have no aches or pains through-out the day. The mixed woodlands provided a wonderful canopy from the sun, making this trail comfortable even in the heat of the July sun, and the wild flowers were still in bloom----just perfect.
Rudi, you put a lot of effort into creating a fun atmosphere, so that we all really enjoy ourselves, whilst maintaining a responsible attention to both riders' and horses' safety and well-fare. I do n't know how you keep your ''sang- froid'' each week with all the problems we riders present you with, but all is resolved with another cool beer and cava by the end of each day.
I look forward to a 4th ride with Panorama-trails next year with another great group of like minded riders, and thank you and your lovely bunch of friendly ladies----not forgetting our pic-nic maestro, Buffalo------ for such a splendid week.

Although it was august it was never too hot because of the trees and the various opportunities to swim (even with the horses!!).
A very nice experience for a mother and her teenage ponygirl.

Of all the six trails I have done with Panorama trails this was definitely the most spectacular ride I have done , the scenery was breathtakingly beautiful , the accommodation was perfect and the party at Georgo and Isabelle's was unforgettable ...viva Catalonia ! For as long as I live I will never forget Buffaloes picnic on top of the table mountain with its panoramic views and 5 star cuisine ! Even the waterfall swim ( OK OK the water was warm!) was amazing , The horses were fantastic, the company wonderful and the Cava cold. Thank you so much for everything see you next year

Excellent horses, nice long days on Trail and lots of trotting and canters. Beautiful and varied accommodations. Rudi's horsmanship was excellent and the horses were very well cared for. Rudi is very organized and had dinner with us each night which was very nice and appreciated.

We want send a Big Hug and Thank you to you for such a life time experience!!! Keith and I have gone over every day of our trip, reliving every happy moment with great joy. What you add to a person's life is very special. Everything was perfect, the people, horses, food, accommodations and of course the CAVA.
The only bad part is that you are 4000 miles away. It took us 28 hours to get home because our first flight took off late and we missed our connections. We still hope we make it back someday!
Juanito, Anne and Annette were fantastic. A great asset to your adventures. We just loved all of you ! I will always remember the look in your eyes.

Can't say enough about how amazing our trip was.
The horses were the best treated I have ever seen, Rudi is an amazing guide, the accommodations were all perfect and the food was amazing.
Everyone went out of their way to make sure I had great vegetarian meals, even if they had to cook me my own food.
And Juanito, Rudi's assistant, was delightful.
The group was wonderful. All were competent riders so we could really move out, and not a complainer in the bunch. We did find out half way into the trip that one of the riders was a Catholic priest, but by then it was too late to take back all the swearing I had done... The more trips you can get in Spain with Rudi, the better. I know our group is planning to go back. Rudi mentioned that he sometimes tailors a ride for a specific group. So if we put togeather a group of 8-10 people, we could maybe design our own ride. Is that something you have done before?
Anyhow, Ireland was good, but Spain was great!
We are already planning for next year.
