This trail exceeded our expectations! The horses were wonderful and perfectly matched to us. We were a group of two and had an absolutely beautiful time. The horses remained calm in every situation, were well-trained, and also enjoyed a good canter.

Thanks to the excellent planning and GPS navigation, we always found our way easily. When our path was blocked by fallen trees that couldn’t be cleared, Nikki quickly found us an alternative route over the phone. The support we received was fantastic, and the evening calls always prepared us perfectly for the next day.

The accommodations were well chosen, with friendly hosts and delicious meals – often cooked especially for us. The views from horseback, as well as at the perfectly chosen picnic spots (one even included a swim in the river!), were absolutely breathtaking.

We were also surprised to see how relaxed the horses were, happily standing tied to a tree for two hours while we enjoyed a meal in a village a kilometre away. The choice of the tracks was another highlight – so many small paths that made us wonder how you ever managed to plan such a route!

It was simply an incredibly wonderful experience, and we are already looking forward to the next time. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Panorama Team for this unforgettable adventure!

Summit Trail to Andorra - an unforgettable adventure

In July 2025, I took part in the Pyrenean Summit Trail from Catalonia to Andorra - an unforgettable week full of impressive nature experiences and great riding moments. The landscape is breathtaking, characterised by idyllic valleys, clear mountain lakes and vast high plateaus with herds of cattle, wild horses and marmots.

The horses are excellently trained, extremely sure-footed and reliable - even in challenging terrain. They are relaxed in any position in the group and can easily move away from the others. The equipment, both for the horses and for camping, is also in excellent condition and leaves nothing to be desired.

A big thank you to Rudi and Marionna for the perfect organisation and the appropriate allocation of horses. This trail ride was a real highlight - pure nature, real adventure and wonderful horse companions!

Just wanted to let you know what a wonderful trip we had! The planning was very easy, with payment links, packing list, and good communication. The food and wine were the best! Full service including glassware, china, flowers, and a buffet were so unexpected and fabulous when we were on the trail! Charming and SO delicious!

Our accommodations were excellent! Beautiful to charming, each had great attributes! I think we all really enjoyed our first stay with Laura and Anna! Everything was so homey and welcoming!

The horses were amazing! They were always everyone’s priority, well cared for and loved. We all swore that Gisela had a magic ball when she picked our horse assignment! We all loved our picks and felt they were perfect matches for us! I felt safe, and our guides knew our horses and their quirks. They gave us riding tips to handle horses that were new to us and our usual style of riding. We actually cried when it came time to leave our horses and our guides who became our friends. The horses’ stamina and hard work amazed us. They knew their jobs so well and seemed happy.

Our guides were absolutely the best!! We only got hints of the huge amount of work they did to coordinate all the details. Our trip was complicated by the flooding, but we barely knew. Alternate plans were already in place. The logistics were mind numbing, but all quietly and efficiently arranged! An impressive feat! We felt like our guides really knew us. They kept us laughing, encouraged us, and kept us on track! Gisela was so enthusiastic, energetic, fun, and charming! Luis was calm, hilarious, and confident. Om was so soulful, loved the horses, and just showed up magically at your side if you needed help. He saw everything.

All in all, I could go on for days, but, just an amazing trip! Would recommend highly! Please share with Rudy what a wonderful trip, wonderful horses, and wonderful staff! This company is a winner! Well done!!!!

This riding holiday far exceeded my expectations. I will never forget my week exploring the Costa Brava with seven other amazing ladies from Germany, Ireland and Denmark.

Thank you Rudy for leading us on this adventure, the attention to detail was 'super' and your horses had the hearts of lions and the surest of feet, carrying us high into mountains through fields of budding wildflowers and on some days, challenging terrain I have never ridden before.

Thanks to Danielle for answering all of my questions initially, you are the reason I booked this trail, and also a special thanks to Om for your quiet work in the background, both as support for the horses and in your preparation of the most delicious lunch picnics, I will be making gazpacho at home now!
