Half day ride experienced riders
Lovely staff and horses! I was really happy after my experience with Panorama Trails. Corinna was a lovely friendly guide and chose a nice horse for me that suited my abilities. She knew the area well and showed me some beautiful local trails for 3 hours. I felt safe with her and the horse I was riding, and could really enjoy the whole experience. I have had a lot of experience with horses in the past but haven’t ridden for 10 years, and my horse was safe but also not a typical slow school horse - we had some fun trotting, cantering and even galloping! All the horses looked to be in good health and had nice personalities. I will definitely come back and recommend to any experience level.

This was my 10th trail with Panorama-Trails, and as always, I've fallen in love with my horse, a snow-white Andalusian gelding - forward going, but easy to handle :)
Our accommodation was nice, and the weather was pretty good too considering it was November! We could even ride in t-shirts for a while!! As expected, the food was amazing: the picnics at lunch time as well as the 3-course meals in the evenings ...

I went on this trail ride with a friend and just wanted to say thank you (!!!??). It was an exceptionally wonderful experience. Everything was perfectly organised and executed (with great attention to detail ...). We noticed straight away that Rudi had everything under control and you could trust him, his team and the excellent horses!
Fantastic landscapes, classic accommodation, a great guide, fast canters and long trots. At the end there was also the unique experience of cantering along the beach - it was all incredibly beautiful!

Perfect organization by Rudi and his very friendly team who always surprised us with very delicious and welcoming picnics...

The Barbarossa Pirates Trail is excellent for adventurous riders and hiking friends. The horses were as safe as mountain goats as they took us safely to the top of challenging steep mountain peaks. Got home Sunday after doing the Mountain to Sea - Fresh & Saltwater Trail with five of my friends. We had the most amazing week, everything was excellent, the horses, the food, the hotels, the company and especially our guide who was fantastic!! Swimming with the horses was one of many highlights. We are suffering some serious post-holiday blues and are already planning a return trip to do another trail next year. Thanks for making it a week we'll never forget!! :-D

Of Rudi's varied trails, this must be the trail for amazing panoramas which got more stunning each day. Mufassa scrambled up the rocky mountainsides with much greater enthusiasm than I scrambled down on my own 2 feet. Fully functional ankles, knees, and hips are an asset as are non-slip boots.
There were good opportunities for canters the first day, we all enjoyed lovely refreshing swims in mountain pools the 2nd &3rd day...

Best horseriding ever! Have just been on the Barbarossa Pirate Trail, it was fantastic. Great horses, everyone in the group got a horse suited their personality, mine was energetic and had a lot of stamina. Rudi takes very good care of the horses. Food was great and plentiful, I gained two kilos on the trip, even if we spent about 5-6 hours in the saddle each day. We were a cheerful group of 4 riders, including 3 "repeat visitors". The trail was new to all participants and every one of our group marvelled at the challenging terrain. I've been riding for almost 40 years and have seen and experienced a lot and I've ridden all over the world, but nowhere have I ridden through such rocky and steep terrain as on this trail! This was my first ride with Panorama Trails and I look forward to more in the future. The ride took us through beautiful Catalan country side with incredible views. We stayed in quaint B&B's that were in unique towns that I never would have found on my own. The ride took us up into the Pyrenees, the steep terrain meant that our wonderful horses had to work hard and occasionally we had to walk on foot too. The varying terrain and great horses are much more suited to experienced riders, which is exactly what I was looking for. Our guide (Rudi) ensured that we could enjoy food, cava and vino tinto that was made locally. The organization of the whole outfit really ensured that the whole trip went perfectly. In a word it was fantastico! I know that I will be returning for another trip if I am so lucky with Panorama Trails.

They climbed the mountains like goats and ran like the wind. Albert, our guide, was a real horseman and gave us the time of our lives. Buffalo and Judith brought us lunches to die for! The whole trip, accommodation, food, ride, and guide were all so excellent! A very well-organized trip! My horse was amazing and all horses were great with traffic and cyclists, etc. I could relax and enjoy every minute of it! Our guide was very knowledgeable, kind and the best guide one could ask for! An extremely well planed and organized trail. The scenaries were breath taking. Lodging were excellent. Good and well kept horses. Fast and long galopps and also exciting downhill parts were we had to lead the horses.
The guide Rudi had made a fine job finding the trails.

last week i completed my sixth riding holiday .which was the bandit trail led by NACHO who I consider the best trail leader I have had .He was most helpful in helping us to get on being both over sixty.We rode an interesting trail over the escarpements of the southern pyranees through woods and along the cliff edges with wonderful views,staying in small hotels and farm houses enroute....

The ride met all my expectations and then some. I have been on other great rides but this one was, by far, the best.
I had the best possible time, enjoyable in every way. I would highly recommend this ride. The horses were extremely well looked after during the ride, although they worked hard, their comfort always came first - they were happy and healthy. The routes and back-up was well managed, the other riders were all great. I trail ride a lot with my own horses and this was the best group ride that I have ever been on...

If you enjoy history, good food, culture, great scenery with challenging trails, and time to take it all in, you will LOVE this trip! The trip was as described online - it is a challenging ride, but due more to the terrain than the pace. The horses were absolutely wonderful -forward going but very well trained, and great over the rough terrain. Our guide (Nacho) was great - I thought he matched people to horses very well, and he was very knowledgable, friendly, and safety conscious. Special praise to the outfitter!...

Thanks for another great trail in this wonderful area of Catalonia. We were 11 riders from seven countries led by our excellent guide Anaïs. We had long gallops and a lot of trotting, the horses were very fit and did not seem to show fatigue. And of course being served good food! Thanks to Danny and Jose for providing good service at all levels...

I loved this trip! Rudi was a wonderful group leader-very professional and skilled when on the trail, while very personable and involved with the group every morning and evening and at meals.
