Day 2: First Ride in the Empordà & Olive Oil Mill

Your first riding day begins with meeting the horses and a short briefing. We then set off directly from the accommodation through the gentle rolling countryside of the Empordà, riding across fields, through olive groves and open woodland, with our first lovely stretches in walk, trot and canter.

In the afternoon, we ride back to the Panorama-Trails farm along natural tracks and let our first day in the saddle come to a relaxed close, full of new impressions.

Day 3: Along the Fluvià River & Excursion to Girona

Today we ride along the idyllic Fluvià River through the wide-open landscapes of the Empordà. One of the highlights of the day is crossing the river itself - a refreshing moment for both horse and rider. Water splashes beneath the horses’ hooves as they calmly make their way across the clear riverbed, and we enjoy the welcome coolness before continuing the trail on the opposite bank.

In the afternoon, we head to Girona for a cultural excursion. Its historic old town, cathedral, Jewish Quarter and colourful houses along the River Onyar make it one of Catalonia’s most beautiful cities. There is time for a leisurely walk and to explore the city at your own pace.

Day 4: Medieval Villages, Wine Country & Cadaqués

In the morning, our ride leads us through small medieval villages, past historic farmsteads and across wide open fields. The sound of hoofbeats on ancient tracks, the scent of pine trees and wild herbs, and the tranquillity of the Mediterranean countryside make time seem to stand still for a while.

In the afternoon, we continue to Cadaqués, one of the most distinctive villages on the Costa Brava. Whitewashed houses, narrow lanes and the extraordinary light of the sea give this place its unique atmosphere. Optionally, there is the possibility to visit nearby Portlligat, where Salvador Dalí lived and worked.

Day 5: Between History & Surrealism

Today we ride along varied natural tracks through the gentle hills surrounding our farm. Along the way, we discover small Romanesque chapels and secluded hermitages that have shaped the landscape of the Empordà for centuries. Between history and nature, we experience the quiet and authentic side of Catalonia.

In the afternoon, we visit an organic winery. During a guided tour through the vineyards and cellar, we learn more about the winemaking traditions of the Empordà. Afterwards, we enjoy a wine tasting accompanied by regional tapas and specialities.

To round off the day, we travel to Figueres, Salvador Dalí’s birthplace. The famous Dalí Theatre-Museum invites us to immerse ourselves in the fascinating world of one of the best-known Surrealist artists and discover this truly extraordinary museum.

Day 6: Final Ride & PRE Stud Farm

Our final ride takes us once more through the countryside around the Panorama-Trails farm. We enjoy the harmonious connection with our horses and finish the riding week with beautiful stretches in walk, trot and canter before returning to the farm.

In the afternoon, we visit one of Catalonia’s most renowned breeding farms for Pura Raza Española horses. During a guided visit, we gain fascinating insights into the breeding of this traditional Spanish breed and experience these elegant Andalusians up close.

We then continue to the coast and Sant Martí d’Empúries. The historic village and the nearby Greek and Roman ruins of Empúries create a wonderfully atmospheric finale to the journey. There is time for a refreshing swim in the Mediterranean, a walk by the sea or a coffee overlooking the bay before returning for our farewell dinner together.

Day 7: Departure

After breakfast, individual departure or transfer to the airport.
