"Beach to Beach" - Andorra Trail - July 2016

Even four days after returning home, my thoughts are still up in the mountains. I spent two amazing, exhausting and intense weeks with Rudi, his strong and sure-footed horses and people who started out being foreigners and became friends (you cannot go through what we have experienced without relying on each other). The trail is tough and Rudi will tell you every night that it is going to be a very long day tomorrow so you will need a very good breakfast. But be assured that it is all worth it since Rudi did an amazing job choosing the route and the camping sites. I have witnessed the most beautiful sunrises and impressive landscapes that kept changing! Every night we were welcomed either in a lovely hostel or a camp that was already prepared perfectly, there was always a cold beer waiting for us. Imagine you arrive at the camp after a long day and you find an old chapel, all over decorated with candles, and a three-course menu almost ready. Even in tough situations Rudi (aka MacGyver) stayed absolutely calm and handled everything admirably well. This might have been my first trail with him but not my last one for sure!

Unguided Panorama Trail - July 2016

My 3 friends and I have just returned from completing the un guided panorama trail.... We had a fantastic time. We have ridden the Andorra trail previously and couldn't wait to have a go at guiding ourselves! Everything was well thought out and organised, Rudi has put a lot of work into marking the trails and making the GPS very easy to follow. The horses looked after us, we had our suitcases waiting for us at each accommodation along with all the food etc for the horses and a really easy to use GPS to guide us along the marked route each day. The scenery is stunning and the sense of freedom and adventure from being out there alone with the horses is unsurpassed! Its not for the faint hearted and certainly not for beginners but if you want a real sense of trail riding at its best then I would totally recommend this trip. 5 star- thanks so much Rudi and team for another great holiday!!!

Paths of Herdsmen Trail - May 2016

Once again thank you Panorama Trails. Having just returned from the Paths of the Herdsmen trail I just wanted to say how much I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the mountains again. My horse Calderin was a superstar. He was an absolute dream of a horse, loved him!!!! Again I met some lovely people who were a pleasure to ride with. Denise guided us with patience, knowledge and a sense of humour and showed a real passion for the area and the horses. Thank you too Anais for your help and support. It was very much appreciated. Can't wait to come back again!

Mediterranean Trail - December 2015

Thanks for another great trail in this wonderful area of Catalonia. We were 11 riders from seven countries led by our excellent guide Anaïs. We had long gallops and a lot of trotting, the horses were very fit and did not seem to show fatigue. And of course being served good food! Thanks to Danny and Jose for providing good service at all levels. Breakfast usually at 09:00 and we rode most of the day turning in the horses usually at six o'clock. For those who do not have any plans in the X-mas of 2016 this trail is an excellent alternative! Ride safe!
